Remove old roof (comprised of 20-year-old MonierLifetile) and replace with CertainTeed Presidential Shake™ TL Ultimate Spanish Tile Shingle
The LaViva Condo Association came to HLV Enterprises, Inc. for a completely new roof. After removing the old roof tile, we applied 5,000 lineal feet of GAF Weather Watch® in the valleys, eaves and on the roof walls for protection against ice and water. We then installed 62,000 sq. ft. of premium CertainTeed shingles on the steep slopes of the roof, followed by 5,000 square feet of TAMKO® flat products on the low-sloped portions of the roof. We also installed 2,000 lineal feet of Cobra® Rigid Vent II™ in order to allow the shingles to breathe and the attic to vent.
All told, HLV Enterprises, Inc. completed the project in 5 weeks. LaViva Condo Association was very pleased with the results and HLV Enterprises, Inc. was so confident that we gave our work a 12 year workmanship guarantee on all sloped and flat sections of roof.
